Located on an unlikely Greenwich St block close to Ground Zero, Kaffe 1668 is home to one of the most talented and consistent groups of baristas in NYC. That, along with the free wi-fi, communal table and extra seating downstairs, makes this a perfect spot to settle in and spend some time at. They serve Intelligentsia’s lauded Black Cat blend, along with a selection of single origin beans, and only use local (pesticide free) milk from upstate New York. They’re all about getting it right at Kaffe 1668, and considering the owners were inspired to set up shop after doing time in Australia and London you can trust they’re looking for the same things you are in a coffee! Some food, although I’d recommend hitting up the Whole Foods opposite if you’re after a meal.
